Channels and Codes

Yourphone has 10 channelsand 15 codes.

Channelsare dividedinto sets of frequenciesthat

allowyou to make and receiveDirect Talk calls.

Otherparties may also betalking on the same

channel.

Codes help minimize interfere nce from unwanted

messagesandother disturbanceswhen you are on

thesame channel as others.

Tohave a conversation,all parties must be on the

samechannel and code. Forprivate Direct Talk

calls,the person you are callingmust be in Direct

Talkand set to the samechannel to which you are

setin orde rto rec eive your call.

Note:When making a code call,all parties that

areon your code and channelcan hear

yourconversation.
