Making TTY Calls
Touse your phone to make phone calls using a
teletypewriter (TTY) dev ice:
1Connectone end of a 2.5mmcable into the
audio jack on your phon e. Connect the oth er
endofthecabletoyourTTYdevice.
2Makesure that your phone’sTTY feature is on
andselect the TTY modeyou want to use.
3Useyour phone to enter phone numbersand
make calls.
Whenyou make a TTY call, theseicons appear on
thephone’s display:
TTYdevice features suchas Turbo-Code,
High-Speed,and Interruptionare not supportedby
yourphone. These features mustbe turnedoff or
disabledto use your TTY devicewith your phone.

TurningOn the TTY Feature

Your phone’s TTY feature must be on if y ou want
tomake TTY calls, set the TTY mode, or change
theTTY baud rate. To makesure the TTY feature
ison:
NPhone call is active.
OPhone call is on hold.
