Ways to Enter Calls
Scrollleftor rightto displaythe Contacts type for
thenumber you want to call.
Ifyou are makinga DirectConnectcall, your phone
placesthe callto the Direct Connectnumber stored
inthe Contacts entry, even if the Direct Connect
iconis not displayed.
Ifyouaremakingaphonecall:
•Your phone places the call t o the phone number
assignedto the Contacts type displayed.
•Ift he Contacts type displayed is not a phon e
number,yo ur phone places the call to the p hone
number stored in the Contacts ent ry.
•Ift he Contacts type displayed is not a phon e
number and you have more than one pho ne
numberstored inthe Contacts entry,your phone
prompts you to select the phone numb er you
wantto place the call to.
Calling from a Contacts Entry
1Fromthe main menu, select Contacts.
2Scrollto the name or numberyou want to call.
3PressAunder View.-or-
IfVi ew is not one of your options: Press m.
SelectVie w.
4Placethe call now. -or-
Scrollt o view more numbers. When you pl ace
thecall, it is made to the number displayed.
Redialing the Last Number
Press and hold sto place a call to the lastphone
number you called.
Using Speed Dial and Turbo Dial®
Eachph one number stored in Contacts is assigned
aSpeed Dial number whichyou can use to enter
thatnumber.
Speed Dial
1From the idle screen, us e the keypad to ente r
theSpeed Dial number assignedto the phone
numberyou want to call.
2Press#.
3Presss.
Turbo D ial
Fromthe idle screen,press and hold the Speed
Dialnumber (1 through9) assigned to the phone
number you want to cal l.
