Caller ID

Your phone can automatically d isplay the phone
numberor name (if the 10-digitphone number is
stored in your Contacts) of the pers on calling
(unless blocked by the caller), enabling you t o
decidewhetherto take the call or forwardit to voice
mail.
Caller ID information is not availab le on all calls.

Per-Call Blocking

Youcan block deliveryof your phone number to
otherCaller ID unitsfor a single phone call:
Press*6 7beforedialing the call.
YourNextel phonenumber cannotbe blocked from
callsmade to 911, 800, 855, 866, 877,888, or
othertoll- free phone numbers.

Per-Line Blocking

You can permanently block del ivery of your phone
numberon every call you make.

Alternate Line Service

Youcan have two differentphone numbers on the
samephone. With AlternateLine Service, you can:
Setup differentbilling addressesfor each phone
line.
Use different ringer st yles so that you ca n tell
which line is receiving the call.
Forward incoming calls to the prima ry and
alternate line to different phone nu mbers.
Toset the activeline:
1Fromthe main menu, select Settings > Phone
Calls> Set L ine.
2Selectthephonelineyouwanttobetheactive
line.
Whencalls made to the linethat is not active are
set to be forwarded to the active line, these call s
aresent to voice mail withoutringing. See “Call
Forwarding”on page 46.
