Ring Tones
Toset the ring tone yourphone makes when you
receivephone calls, messagenotifications, orcall
alerts:
1Fromthe main menu, selectRing Tones.
2Makesure Vib rate All is set to Off.
3Scrollthroughthe list of ring tonesand select the
oneyou wa nt to assign. Vibrate sets your phone
tovibrate insteadof making a sound;Sil entse ts
your phone to neither vibrate nor ma ke a sound.
Tip:Highli ghting a ring tone lets you hear it.
4PressAunder Assign.
5Scrolltothefeatureyouwanttoassignthering
tone to.
6PressAunder Select.
Tip:A checkm ark next to a feature means the
currentring tonehas been assigned to it.To
remove the assignment: Scroll to the
feature.Press Aunder Select.
7Toassign thering tone to other features,repeat
step 5 through step 6.
8Whenyou are finished, pressAunder Done.
Note:This ico n Mappears on the display if
youset your phone to neither vibratenor
makea sound for phone calls.

Setting Your Phone to Vibrate

Youcan set your phone to vibrateinstead of
makinga sound when you receiveall phone calls,
DirectConnect calls, Group Connectcalls,
messages notification s, and call alerts.
1Fromthe main menu, select RingTones.
2WithVibra te All highlighted, scro ll left or right to
set Vibrate All to On.
Tip:Pressing the volumecontrols to turn down
thevolume as far as possiblesets Vibrate
Allto On.

soundfor some features but not others:
1Fromthe main menu, selectRing Tones.
2Makesure Vibr ate All is set to Off.
3Scroll through the list of ring tones to Vi brate.
4PressAunder Assign.
5Scrollto the featureyou want to setto make no
sound.
Note:To set ring options for Direc t Connect calls
andGroup Connect calls,see “Setting
YourPhone toNot Ring” on page 90.
6PressAunder Select.
7Toassign Vibrate to another feature, repeat
step 5 through step 6.
