The clock controls the schedules used for services such as ringing and routing services.

After a power failure, the clock is behind by the length of time power was lost. For example, if the power is out for two minutes, the clock is two minutes behind.

You can program your Norstar system with the Automatic Time and Date feature to automatically update the time and date. Whenever the clock is out of sync by more than two minutes, as a result of a power failure or a loss of power, the first incoming call updates the clock automatically after two rings.
