The following functions can be executed in the System Installer mode:

•Setting the display language (see below)

•Clearing/installing the system program (page 145)

•Disabling/enabling display of the System Menu (changing the system set- tings) (page 147)

•Disabling/enabling writing to the screen data memory (changing the sys- tem settings) (page 147)

•Clearing screen data (page 148)

The version code displayed beside the System Installer title on the screen indicates the version of the System Installer Mode. For details, refer to 3-5 Using a Memory Unit.

6-5-1 Setting the Display Language in the System Installer Mode

The first setting made in the System Installer mode is to select whether the display language is to be English or Japanese.
