Understanding Error Messages

Message	Description	Action
NO DISC	• MD is not loaded.	•	Load an MD.
	• The MD data cannot be read.	•	Reload the MD.
DISC ER *	• The disc is damaged.	•	Reload the MD.
	• The MD does not contain the TOC or the data is corrupted.	•	Use another MD.
?DISC	• The data is corrupted or the MD is out of standard.	•	Use another MD.
DISC FULL	• The MD has no space available for recording.	• Use another recordable MD.
BLANK DISC	• The MD does not contain any recorded information	• The disc is ready to be recorded on.
