Recording Calls and Conferences Using the Advanced Features of Your Phone

Recording Conferences

Polycom recommends that you don’t remove the USB flash drive while recording. The file being recorded will be incomplete and cannot be played back later. There is a small probability that the USB flash drive itself may be damaged by this action.

You can record conference calls in the same way as other calls with the following exceptions:

•All conference call participants are recorded. If one of the conference

participants presses , that participant is not recorded.

•When a conference call is placed on hold, recording is paused. You can place or answer other calls, which will be recorded in the same file. When the conference call is resumed, recording of the conference resumes.

Pausing and Resuming Recording

You can pause recording by tapping the Pause soft key. When you tap the

Resume soft key, recording continues within the same .wav file.

To pause a recording:

>>Tap the Pause soft key.

The Paused Recording icon displays on the status bar when you pause recording.
