Refer to Figure 3-11. The Name Server tab enables you to poll the Switch for Name Server information. When you open this tab, the Utility application polls the Name Server to get the data. It does not refresh the screen again until you tell it to. Refer to the Refresh button.

Port Field: This field contains the Switch port number.

FC-Addr Field: This field contains the Fibre Channel Port Identifier of the connected device.

Port Type Field: This field contains the Port Type (N or NL) of the connected device.

Port Name Field: This field contains the World Wide Name of the connected adapter.

Node Name Field: This field contains the World Wide Name of the connected host device.

FC-4 Field: This field contains the interpretation of any FC-4 types that the
