CHANGING RECEPTION MODE

This feature is useful because it lets you switch the reception mode quickly for just one call. For example, if you are in Telephone mode and an incoming call turns out to be a fax, you can instantly change over to Fax Mode and receive the message. Similarly, you may change:

❐From Fax mode to Tel mode

❐From Auto Mode to Fax mode

❐From Tel mode to Fax mode

NOTE: ❐ This feature is only available when you are using Tone dial.

❐ In Asian, you can not swith over Fax Mode to elephone Mode. ❐ In USA, you can switch over Fax Mode to Telephone Mode. After

talking you can switch back Telephone mode to Fax mode.

1. Press the Function key and	SETTING?
	PRINTLISTj
6,2,2,2,2,6,3, using the ten keypad, then
press the Yes ey.			KPAD/Y/jk
❐ At this time, you can print a User Parameter List
if you press the kkey, then press the Start ey.
2. Press the Yes key. Then press the kkey	SWITCH07:00000000
until the settings for Switch 07 are dis-
played.			KPAD/Y/jk
❐ The setting which is in the display is the current
setting (normally seen in a machine just
delivered from the factory).
3. The setting that you need to change is
	SWITCH07:00100000
digit 5. If you wish to change it press 5
using the ten keypad.		Digit 5
		0: Switch Over Off
		1: Switch Over On

4. Finish : Press the Yes key and the Function key.

Using Reception Mode Switchover

1.Make sure that the machine is in One Touch Change Over Mode.

2.After ringing, hang up the handset, then press 2 twice on the separate handset’s keypad.

3.The machine automatically changes the reception mode.
