Basic Transmission Procedure [Type I Model]

Memory Transmission Immediate Transmission

1Make sure that the machine is in standby mode.

Check that the Memory indicator is

lit.

If it is not lit, press the Line Select

key.

Check that the Memory indicator is

not Lit.

If it is lit, press the Line Select key.

3Carefully place the document in the feeder.

4Select the resolution (and halftone if necessary)

You may select one or more of the

following options. To select a n

option, press the right arrow on the

scroll key, then press one of the

following combinations of keys.

Enter the telephone number in one of the following ways

Quick Dial

Speed Dial

Group Dial

7Press the YES key. Press the START key.

Either:Dial another number go to

step 6. then Press the Start key.

To dial another number, go to step

6. Otherwise, press the Start key.

9The machine stores your message

in memory, then sends it to each

terminal in sequence.

The machine dials, then your

message is fed, scanned, and

sent to the other terminal.
