SYSTEM OPERATIONS

2.2Display on MAT

Set Scanning to Scanning ON (default) on the Scanning PBX form to collect system messages. If any mes- sage is collected, the information is displayed in the text box on the DFTD command form.

3.INDICATION OF LOCKOUT STATIONS

When a station is in lockout status (permanent signaling state, shorting across speech wires, etc.), it can quickly be discovered, preventing the situation from developing into serious trouble.

3.1Indicating Method

By entering the following commands from the MAT, information pertaining to the lockout station con- cerned will display.

3.2 Recovery Procedure

Confirm the state of the handset of the displayed station.

On the MDF, connect the test telephone to the displayed station and confirm Dial Tone (DT).

Go on-hook and then go off-hook again.

If dial tone is heard, the station is in permanent signaling status.
