1.3.1CPR Replacement Procedure

This section explains how to replace the Control Processor Rack (CPR). Before starting the procedures, make a backup copy of the main data, such as office data,

Call Forwarding (CF) data and Speed Calling (SPD) data, on to the hard disk of the HFC. Figure 4-2shows the front view of the CPR. Operate the related keys and con-

nectors to replace the CPU with a new one. Using a Phillips screwdriver, remove the four screws and extract the CPR with care, as shown in Figure 4-3.
