There are three types of SIMMs that can be used in both Bank 0 and Bank 1. Each type is listed together with the DRAMs used in Table 3-1.

3.4.5.1Removing a Memory Module

1.Remove the CPU/Memory board from which the SIMM is to be removed. See Section 3.4.1, “Removing a Board.”

2.Attach a wrist strap and place an antistatic surface next to the system.

3.Locate the slot for the SIMM you need to replace. See Figure 3-13.
