12.2Removing the External Cables

1.Position the server for easy access to the rear.

2.Enterprise 6000/5000 systems only: remove the rear screen panel and the kick panel by loosening the screws.

Both the rear screen panel and kick panel are attached with two screws. See Figure 12-5.

Note – If your system cabinet has a hinged rear door, use the sliding door latch to open the door, remove the kick panel (if necessary), and proceed to Step 3.
