4.7HDD

Removing the HDD

To remove the HDD, follow the steps below and refer to Figure 4-10 and 4-11.

CAUTION: Take care not to press on the top or bottom of a HDD. Pressure may cause the data loss or damage to the device.

1. Remove the following screw securing the HDD cover.

• M2.5⋅5B FLAT HEAD screw ⋅1

2.Insert your finger into the slot and lift the HDD cover to remove.

3.Remove the HDD assembly from the slot and disconnect it from the connector on the HDD harness.
