6-3 General tab
The text display area shows the name of the current default printer. Below this printer name, up to five lines of status text are displayed depending on the printer’s state and other variables.
In this tab there are:
◆Pause Printer/Resume Printer button
This button is only displayed if the Status Monitor can establish a bi- directional link with the printer. The button toggles between pause and resume depending on the state of the printer.
◆Reset Printer button
This button appears only if the Status Monitor can establish a bi- directional link with the printer. When displayed, clicking this button will send a Reset command to the printer and all print jobs will be canceled.
When the printer is unable to receive a “End of File” signal, it will remain at Reset state until the Wait
◆Printer Setup button
Clicking this button brings up the printer driver setup dialog for the current default printer. The values set in this button are used as the default values for the driver.
