5-5Image Control tab

The settings here allow you to control the quality of imaging and the manner in which the image is sent to the printer.

￿Imaging Mode

Allows you to choose whether you want the imaging mode to be selected manually or automatically. The options available are Automatically select best imaging mode and Manually select imaging mode. If you choose Manually select imaging mode, you can select any of the three imaging mode below.

•Optimize for text and spreadsheets

This option ensures high print speed for documents such as spreadsheets or tables.

•Optimize for graphics and photos

This option enhances the printing of graphic images, and reduces the occurrence of complex pages as the amount of data sent to the printer is reduced.

•Image entire page as graphic

Under this option, the printed output may appear to be a closer match to the screen image than the other modes, but printing is slower.
