Type a name (up to 32 printable 7-bit ASCII characters) to identify this security profile.

 

 

Security Mode

Select None to allow wireless clients to communicate with the access points without

 

any data encryption.

 

 

Apply

Click Apply to save your customized settings and exit this screen.

 

 

Cancel

Click Cancel to exit this screen without saving.

 

 

10.8.2 Static WEP

Static WEP provides a mechanism for encrypting data using encryption keys. Both the AP and the wireless stations must use the same WEP key to encrypt and decrypt data.

Your ZyWALL allows you to configure up to four 64-bit, 128-bit or 152-bit WEP keys, but only one key can be used at any one time.

In order to configure and enable WEP encryption, click WIRELESS > Wi-Fi > Security > Edit.
