Chapter 49 Product Specifications

"Do not insert or remove a card with the ZyWALL turned on.

Make sure the ZyWALL is off before inserting or removing a 3G card (to avoid damage). Slide the connector end of the card into the slot.

"Only use a compatible 3G card.

Do not force, bend or twist the 3G card.

Complete the following steps to hang your ZyWALL on a wall.

"See Table 253 on page 693 for the size of screws to use and how far apart to place them.

1Select a position free of obstructions on a sturdy wall.

2Drill two holes for the screws.

Be careful to avoid damaging pipes or cables located inside the wall when drilling holes for the screws.

3Do not insert the screws all the way into the wall. Leave a small gap of about 0.5 cm between the heads of the screws and the wall.

4Make sure the screws are snugly fastened to the wall. They need to hold the weight of the ZyWALL with the connection cables.

5Align the holes on the back of the ZyWALL with the screws on the wall. Hang the ZyWALL on the screws.
