Chapter 6 CLI – Layer 2

clear timezone

Returns the timezone to its default, Coordinated Universal Time (UTC)

The syntax for this command is:

clear timezone

clear ip route

Use the clear ip route command to delete IP routing table entries.

The syntax for this command is:

clear ip route <destination> <gateway>

destination	IP address of the network, or specific host to be added
gateway	IP address of the router

Output Example:

To delete the route table entries using the clear ip route command:

P330-N# clear ip route 134.12.3.0 192.1.1.1

Route deleted.

clear snmp trap

Use the clear snmp trap command to clear an entry from the SNMP trap receiver table.

The syntax for this command is:

clear snmp trap {<rcvr_addr>all}

rcvr_addr	IP address or IP alias of the trap receiver (the SNMP management
	station) to clear
all	Keyword that specifies every entry in the SNMP trap receiver table

Output Example:

P330-N# clear snmp trap 192.122.173.82

SNMP trap receiver deleted.
