Output Example:

P330-N# set arp-tx-interval 15

ARP tx interval was set to 15 seconds.

set self-loop-discovery Admin_Status

Use the set self-loop-discovery Admin_Status command to enable or disable IBM token ring discovery feature at the module level.

Note: You must disable Spanning Tree before you can enable self-loop-discovery.

Note: This command is not supported by the P332G-ML and P332GT-ML switches.

The syntax for this command is:

set self-loop-discovery Admin_Status <enabledisable> <modul num>

Example:

P330-N# set self-loop-discovery Admin_Status enable 1

Self-Loop-Discovery is disabled on module 1.

set welcome message

Use the set welcome message command to set a welcome message to appear after a reboot or after opening a new session (see session command) in the stack.

The syntax for this command is:

set welcome message [string]

string

string - The string to be used as the welcome message.

 

blank - Restores the default string.

Output Example:

P330-N# set welcome message avaya

The new welcome string is “avaya”
