set port spantree priority
Use the set port spantree priority command to set the priority level of a port. This value defines the priority of a port to be blocked in case two ports with the same costs cause a loop.
The syntax for this command is:
set port spantree priority [module/port] [value]
module/port | The switch number/the port number. |
value | Number representing the priority of the port. The priority |
| level is from 0 to 255, with 0 indicating high priority and |
| 255 indicating low priority. A port with a lower priority |
| will be blocked. |
set port spantree cost
Use the set port spantree cost command to set the cost of a port. This value defines which port will be allowed to forward traffic if two ports with different costs cause a loop.
The syntax for this command is:
set port spantree cost [module/port] [value]
module/port | The switch number/the port number. |
value | Number representing the cost. The cost level is set from 1 |
| to 65535. A lower cost (lower value) specifies precedence |
| of a port to forward traffic. |
