Audience

This publication is primarily designed for the person responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting the Cisco 7201 router. The users of this guide should be familiar with electronic circuitry and wiring practices and have experience as electronic or electromechanical technicians. Users of this guide should also have experience in installing high-end networking equipment. Certain procedures described in this guide require a certified electrician.

For configuration applications, refer to the Cisco IOS configuration guides and command references and to the documents listed in the “Related Documentation” section on page xvii.
