Setting OSPF Properties

Using the RiverMaster, you can define the following OSPF parameters:

HArea ID shared by the routers and the ANG.

HRouter ID that identifies the ANG to other devices in the OSPF area. The default value for this address is the IP address assigned to the Trusted interface on the ANG.

HAuthentication algorithm used to accept or reject routing table updates from other routers.

To route packets for remote clients using OSPF, the ANG also uses a set of fixed operating parameters. Table 4 lists these fixed OSPF parameters, which use common default values and cannot be changed.
