Strings, Anti-Curl
The Anti-Curl Strings are attached to the Jam Access Door Assembly at the
top of the frame, routed through small pulleys at the back of the Delivery
Head Assembly, and then around pulleys near the bottom of the frame,
where they are attached to tension springs.
1Remove all of the paper bins, and the blind cover (see Figure 6-86).
2Disconnect the Anti-Curl String tension springs at the bottom of the frame
(Figure 6-88, callout 1) and remove the strings from the lower pulleys by
snapping them free (Figure 6-88, callout 2).
3Remove both covers (see Figure 6-65).
4Remove the Jam Access Door Assembly (see Figures 6-74 through 6-76).
5Disconnect the upper ends of the Anti-Curl Strings from the Jam Access
Door Assembly (Figure 6-89, callout 3).
6Remove the Delivery Head Assembly (see Figures 6-66 through 6-68).
7Remove the strings from the pulleys at the back of the Delivery Head by
rotating the flat side of the pulley toward the outside of the frame (Figure
6-90, callout 4).
8Remove the strings from the tension springs.
