Configuring Apple EtherTalk Phase Parameter

To configure EtherTalk parameters:

1If you do not want to configure the phase parameter, Press [On Line].

2Press [Item]. CFG ETALK=NO * appears.

3Press [+]. CFG ETALK=YES appears.

4Press [Select]. CFG ETALK=YES * appears.

5Press [Item]. Phase=2 * appears.

6Press [+] to change the phase parameter. Phase=1 appears.

7Press [Select] to save the new value. Phase=1 * appears.

8Press [On Line]. You may want to configure the AppleTalk name and assign

a preferred EtherTalk Zone.

9After completing this guide refer to the HP JetDirect Interface

Configuration Guide for further configuration instructions on using the HP

LaserJet Utility.
