Magnetic Offset Adjustment
Using the Magnetic Offset (RP7 Potentiometer location)
Step | Procedure |
1Use magnetic developer spray or a Magnetic Stripe viewer to measure the location of the start sentinel on an encoded card to accurately calibrate the RP7 potentiometer.
2Use the Magnetic Self Test to generate test samples. See the Performing the Standard Self Test procedure on page 57.
