Operations Menu

Introduction

Operations-level commands are used for making immediate and temporary changes to switch configuration. The Operations Menu is used for bringing ports temporarily in and out of service. This menu is available only from an administrator and operator login.

port <port number>

Displays the Operational Port Menu.

 

 

vrrp

Displays the Operational Virtual Router Redundancy Menu.

 

 

passwd <1-128 characters>

Allows the user to change the password. You need to enter the current

 

password in use for validation.

 

 

clrlog

Clears all Syslog messages.

 

 

ntpreq

Allows the user to send requests to the NTP server.
