8.1Basic Transmission

1 Position the document(s) to be faxed.

2Press the [Fax/Scan] key.

❍For a copier, press the [Scan] key.

3Touch [10-Key Dialing]. Specify the recipient in any of the following ways.

❍For a copier, touch [Addr. Input].

❍Select a recipient from

the list on the One-Touch screen. → Refer to page 4-5.

❍Select a recipient by searching for it by name.

→Refer to page 4-6.

❍Type in the number of the one-touch key for the desired recipient.

→Refer to page 4-8.

❍Select a fax program → Refer to page 8-4.

Note

An IP address cannot be specified from the 10-Key Dialing screen. In order to perform an IP address fax operation, register the IP address in a one-touch key.
