4.2.Installing the Equipment

3P@C 4450E must be installed in a cabinet. Since it is heavy and of a large volume, two persons are needed to cooperate with each other in the installation process. To install it, first install the 10U chassis, then the fan module and finally the air deflector frame. The specific procedure is as follows:

4.2.1.Installing the 10U Chassis

If the 10U chassis has been mounted with hangers, you can skip Step 1 and start the installation directly from Step 2.

Step 1 Mount the hangers with screws provided in the installation accessories onto the 10U chassis, as shown in the following figure. In the process, make sure the hangers are mounted in the correct direction; otherwise the switch would not be able to be placed in the standard cabinet.
