Receiving Documents

Storing Received I-Fax Documents in Memory

You can set the machine to store documents received by I-fax into memory without printing them. This is referred to as Memory Lock. You can later check the received documents in the Memory RX Inbox and print or send them.

NOTE

The default setting is 'Off'.

1 Press (Additional Functions) [System Settings]

[Communications Settings].

If necessary, see the screen shots in steps 1 and 2 of "Setting the Memory RX Inbox Password," on p. 6-5.

If the System Manager ID and System Password have been set, enter the System

Manager ID and System Password using - (numeric keys) press (ID).

NOTE

If the desired setting is not displayed, press [] or [] to scroll to the desired setting.

2 Press [Memory RX Inbox Settings] [Use I-Fax Memory

Lock].
