Flow of Sending Operations

This section describes the flow of basic sending operations.

NOTE

•Before using the Send function, it is useful to read the following topics:

-Main power and control panel power (See Chapter 1, "Before You Start Using This Machine," in the Reference Guide.)

-Routine maintenance (See Chapter 7, "Routine Maintenance," in the Reference Guide.)

•The maximum number of send jobs that the machine can hold is 120 (including jobs with error codes). However, the actual number of send jobs that the machine can handle may be less than 120, depending on the following conditions:

-Multiple documents are being sent at the same time

-Large documents are being sent

•You can print a report that contains the results of all send jobs. (See "Send TX Report," on p. 11-3.)

1 Press the appropriate keys in accordance with the messages displayed on the touch panel display.

If there are no messages displayed, proceed to step 2.

●If the message <You must insert a control card.> appears:

❑ Insert a control card into the optional Card Reader-D1.

The Basic Features screen is displayed.
