1Turn off the system, including any attached peripherals, and disconnect the system from the electrical outlet.

2Open the system. See "Opening the System" on page 89.

3Locate the USB connector on the system board.

4Insert the USB memory key into the USB connector. See Figure 3-18.

5Close the system. See "Closing the System" on page 90.

6Reconnect the system to its electrical outlet and turn the system on, including any attached peripherals.

7Enter the System Setup program and verify that the USB key has been detected by the system. See "Using the System Setup Program and UEFI Boot Manager" on page 63.
