Making and Answering Calls
•Internal calls are also known as Intercom calls. These are calls that originate or that you make to another station within your phone system.
•External calls are those that originate from or that you make to a source outside your company’s phone system (for example, customers, vendors, etc.).
Making Calls
Dial an Internal Call
1.Lift the handset.
OR
Press SPEAKER*.
OR
Begin dialing from the dialpad.
2. Dial the station number.
Dial an External Call
The following procedure provides the steps to manually dial a call. However, you can also use this method using a speed dial number (see “Speed Dialing” on page

Press SPEAKER*.
OR
Go to Step 2 below.
2.Dial the access code to get to an outside line.
NOTE: Outside line (CO) access codes "9" or "88XX". Contact your System Administrator if you are unsure about what your company access code is.
3.Dial the phone number.
