Using the Headset

Once you set the headset mode, you can toggle between the handset and the headset in the same way you toggle between the handset and speaker (see “Switch between Handset and Speaker” on page 2-14).

Press SPEAKER to toggle between using the handset and the headset.

Adjusting the Volume on the Headset

While on a call:

Use the VOLUME down (-) and up (+) to adjust the volume of the caller’s voice.

Using a Headset with a 2.5 mm Headset Jack (Ear/Mic)

If you are using a special headset that has a 2.5mm headset jack, (that is Ear/Mic units) a special setting in addition to the basic Headset Mode setting is required.

Note: Contact your System Administrator to find out if the headset you are using requires this additional setting.

Follow the steps 1 through 6 for Setting the Headset Mode.
