Using Hold

Place an External Call on Hold

While connected to an external call:

1.Press the hook-switch.

2.Dial 560.

Retrieve a Held Outside Call

1.Lift handset.

2.Dial 8 # and CO line number (01-12).

OR

If you don’t remember the held CO number:

Dial 86.

Transferring Calls

You can perform both screened and unscreened transfers, as well as direct transfer to a voice mailbox:

Screened Transfers: Allows you to announce a call to the destination station before completing the transfer.

Unscreened Transfer: Allows you to complete a transfer without announcing the party to the destination station.

To Transfer a Call

While on a call:

1.Press the hook-switch.

2.Dial the destination target (station or hunt group) to which you want to transfer the call.

Make a Screened Transfer

3.Wait for the destination target to answer.

4.Tell the destination target who is calling, then hang up to complete the transfer.

Note: If the destination station/hunt group is busy or the user does not want to accept the call, press the TRANS soft button or Trans/PGM to reconnect to the caller.

OR

Make an Unscreened Transfer

5.Wait for the destination target to ring, then hang up before it is answered to complete the transfer.
