Transferring Calls
You can perform both screened and unscreened transfers, as well as direct
transfer to a voice mailbox:
Screened Transfers: Allows you to announce a call to the destination
station before completing the transfer.
Unscreened Transfer: Allows you to complete a transfer without
announcing the party to the destination station.
Transfer a Call from Your Station to another Station
While on a call:
1. Press the TRANS soft button
or TRANS/PGM to put the
current call on hold.
2. Dial the destination target
(station or hunt group) to
which you want to transfer
the call.
To Make a Screened Transfer
3. Wait for the destination target to answer.
4. Announce to the destination target who is calling, then hang up to
complete the transfer.
NOTE: If the destination station/hunt group is busy or the user does not
want to accept the call, press the TRANS soft button or
TRANS/PGM to reconnect to the caller.
OR
To Make an Unscreened Transfer
5. Wait for the destination target to ring, then hang up before it is answered
to complete the transfer.
NOTE: If the destination station/hunt group is busy, press the TRANS
soft button or TRANS/PGM to reconnect to the caller.
Transfer a Call Directly to Voice Mail
1. Press the TRANS soft button or TRANS/PGM to put the current call on hold.
2. Press the CALLBK soft button.
3. Dial a destination voice mailbox number.
When the voice mail answers:
4. Hang up to complete the transfer.
