12 Lift the tray away from the case.
Follow the instructions in “Closing the server case” on page 45. Turn on your server.
Tighten the system board tray thumbscrew on the back of the case. Reinstall the memory, processors, voltage regulators, and fans.

12 Lift the tray away from the case.

13 Insert the new system board tray into the case, then slide the tray toward the back of the case.

16 Connect the power, data, and fan cables by referring to the notes you took in Step 8.

17 To reinstall the expansion cards, follow the instructions in “Installing PCI expansion cards” on page 60.

20 Press F2 when the Gateway logo screen appears during startup. The BIOS Setup utility opens.

21 Check BIOS settings to make sure that they detect the server’s new hardware, then save your changes (if any) and close the BIOS Setup utility.
