The

following

setup

give

you

the same effect

as

when

you

pres

and

hold

theFn

key

and then

press an appropriate function key:

Start the ThinkPad Configuration program, (see “ThinkPad

configuration”

on

page 29).

AccessibilityClick the

)

button,

and

clickEnable

forFn key

lock .

After you

enableFn

thekey

lock

and Fnpressonce, press

one

of the function keys. The

computer

works

the

same

as

when

you

pressFn + the function key.

If

you

Fnpresstwice after

enabling

the

lock,

pressing

a function

key

alone

is

recognized

as

a

combinationFn + that offunction

key.

To

stop

this

function,Fn

againpress.
