1.Restart the computer.

2.When the IBM logo is displayed,F1 to pressenter the BIOS Setup Utility.

3.SelectPassword and pressEnter . The "Password" submenu appears.

4.Select the type of password you want to change or remove, a press Enter . A window appears.

5.Type the current password Enterand .press

6.Type your desired new passwordEnterand. press

Note: If you want to remove the password, do not type anythin

7. Type your new password again Enterand presstoverify it.

Note: Write down the password and keep it in a safe place.
