6.4PACKAGE THERMAL SPECIFICATION

The 80386 is specified for operation when case tem- perature is within the range of 0°C-85°C.The case temperature may be measured in any environment,

to determine whether the 80386 is within specified operating range.

The PGA case temperature should be measured at the center of the top surface opposite the pins, as in Figure 6-4.
