When the OS of the PC is Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows Me, Windows NT 4.0 or Windows

2000, install the printer driver following the procedure below.

8.4.1 Windows 95/98/Me, Windows NT 4.0 or Windows 2000

Procedure

Install the printer driver for Windows 95/98/Me, Windows NT 4.0 or Windows

2000 by running the "Setup.exe" program. Click Add Network Port and select

the network printer from Network Neighborhood.

"4.2.2 For a Network Printer" for details on the installation of the printer

driver.

• When you are printing, make sure that you uncheck the "Enable Banner"

check box displayed on the "Printer Settings" tab of the printer properties

dialog box. Otherwise, you might not be able to obtain the desired printing

result.

• When you encounter any problem, you can refer to the Readme.txt file in the

"Inffile" folder of the driver that you are installing, stored in the "PCL6

Printer Driver, Utilities & Documentation" CD-ROM.
