4.3 Configuring the Printer Drivers

Layout

The Layout property provides six job finishing features for you to modify the printed layout of a document. Notice that an image is displayed for each type of layout mode selected and which also indicates the current page orientation.

Layout Mode

Provides a list of the job finishing options:

Multi-Up (default)

Booklet Creation

Fit To Output Size

Zoom

Logical On Physical

Poster

Selecting each of the features will display one of the following corresponding options:

(1) Multi-Up(available when Multi-Upis selected for Layout Mode)

The Multi-Up function allows more than one document page to be printed on the same physical page.

Pages Per Sheet (default: 1)

Lists the possible pages per sheet for the Multi-Up printing function: 1, 2, 4, 6, 9, 16.

Page Border

Specify the options of page border to be printed around each document page:

• None (default)

No page border is drawn.

• Grid

A rectangle is drawn to divide each document page.
