9.1Introduction

This machine supports the Internet Printing Protocol (IPP). As Windows 2000 is installed with the IPP port monitor, the client software for outputting to IPP printer, you can specify printing to an IPP-supported printer from the Add Printer window of the printer program in the control panel.

Using IPP, you can print to a distant printer via the Internet or an intranet.
