7.2Setting NetBEUI in Printer

When using NetBEUI for SMB, you have to set the following items from the touch panel display.

¥select Enable for port status of SMB (factory setting: Enable)

¥select On for NetBEUI as the transport protocol (factory setting: On)

7.2.1Activating Port and Setting Protocol

Follow the procedure below to activate the SMB port using the touch panel display.

Procedure

Press the Settings/Meter Check button on the control panel and select Tools

Mode on the screen displayed.

Enter the access number of the system administrator and touch Confirm.

The factory setting of the access number is "11111".

Select Print/Scan Mode Settings.
