Displaying Screen Savers

Another way to personalize your phone is to use the idle browser as a screen saver. The screen saver automatically starts each time your phone is idle for a configurable amount of time.

Choosing a Screen Saver

Your phone has two screen savers you can choose from.

To set up a screen saver:

1From Home view, select Settings > Basic > Preferences > Screen Saver.

2From the Screen Saver screen, select Screen Saver and select Enabled.

3Select Wait Time and enter the number of minutes the phone can wait after no activity before displaying the screen saver.

You can enter a minimum of one minute and a maximum of 9999 minutes. The default is 15 minutes.

4Select Type and select either Default or Idle Browser.

5Press Save.

You can stop a screen saver at any time by pressing a soft key, line key, or hard key.

You can disable a screen saver and prevent the screen saver from starting, even if your phone has been idle for the specified period of time by disabling the Screen Saver setting.

To disable the Screen Saver setting:

1From Home view, select Settings > Basic > Preferences > Screen Saver.

2From the Screen Saver screen, select Screen Saver and select Disabled.

3Press Save.
