4-4. Personal Codes
Personal Codes allow you to track machine usage; they are printed for each com - munication on the TCR and other reports. They can also be used with the Re- stricted Access feature, to ensure that unauthorized personnel do not use the machine.
Each user can be given a Personal Code. With each code, you can store:
❐A name: This will be printed on reports to identify the users of the machine.
❐A Confidential ID: This must be different for each Personal Code. If somebody sends you a confidential message, they can override the machine’s Confiden - tial ID with the Confidential ID stored with your Personal Code, if you inform them of your code. If so, the machine will print a report that will inform you when the message has arrived. Then, you must input this Confidential ID to print the message.
