Battery pack care
•Remove the battery pack from the camcorder after using it, and keep it in a cool place. When the battery pack is installed to the camcorder, a small amount of current flows to the camcorder even if the POWER switch is set to OFF. This shortens battery life.
•The battery pack is always discharging even when it is not in use after charging. Therefore, you should charge the battery pack right before using the camcorder.
The switch on the battery pack
This switch is provided so that you can mark the charged battery pack. Set the switch to the “green mark” position when charging is completed.
(When removed from the charging adaptor, the switch exposes the green mark. When removed from your camcorder, no mark is indicated.)

•Extraiga el paquete de la videocámara después de usarlo y guárdelo en un lugar fresco. Mientras el paquete está instalado en la videocámara, una pequeña cantidad de corriente fluye hacia ésta aunque el interruptor POWER esté ajustado en OFF. Esto reduce la duración del paquete.
•El paquete de batería siempre se descargará aunque no lo utilice después de haberlo cargado. Por tanto, debe cargarse inmediatamente antes de emplear la videocámara.
Interruptor del paquete de batería
Este interruptor posibilita marcar el paquete de batería cargado. Ajuste el interruptor en la posición de la “marca verde” una vez finalizado el proceso de carga. (Al retirarse del adaptador de carga, el interruptor muestra la marca verde, mientras que al retirarse de la videocámara no muestra ninguna marca.)

Recharge the battery pack whenever you like
You do not have to discharge it before recharging. If you charged the battery pack fully but you did not use it for a long time, it becomes discharged. Then recharge the battery pack before use.
